Looking for a new opportunity within a dynamic startup? We are developing new web-based treasury management software that challenges FinTech’s traditional view that software needs to be a complex toolkit, difficult to implement and expensive to maintain.
We are based at the Innovation Centre within the Anglian Ruskin University campus, walking distance from the Chelmsford town centre and train station. It’s a great working environment, combining the facilities available within the University campus, and excellent transport links only 35 minutes outside of London.
We actively promote combining time in the office with remote working. Work/life balance is important to us and we firmly believe you get the best software by supporting people’s work in a way that is most comfortable for them.

COVID-19 (January 2021)
Our offices are in university risk-assessed facilities; masks and sanitisers are available within a socially-distanced office layout. They remain open and available to use to support any people that can’t work from home.
However, at this time, all work has been transitioned to assume remote-working by default. All stands-ups and planning sessions are via video-conferencing and team-based online collaboration tools.

Back-End Developer
(mid-level)
We are looking for a Python Django developer with previous commercial experience, to work closely with the CTO and founders as we expand our back-end team.

Required skills
Degree or similar in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience
Experience with Python, Django and the Django REST framework (essential)
Beneficial skills
PostgreSQL
Python unit testing, integration and acceptance testing with tools such as Selenium
Experience developing within a continuous integration and deployment environment
Experience with financial or treasury software
Back-End Developer
(junior)
We are looking for junior developers with a focus on back-end systems and business application development.
